A little bit of summer in winter

The director of a musical I am in LOVES key lime pie, so for our first rehearsal I made him some key lime pie cupcakes with a graham cracker crumb base and freshly zested lime in both the cupcake and the frosting. At our second rehearsal, he told me they were the best cupcakes he ever had! (I'm blushing!) I'm glad he enjoyed a taste of summer to brighten up his cold, dreary day!
