"On the Town" Treats

I think I mentioned that I am part of a junior theater troupe. We put on a musical every year, and this year we did "On the Town." I always make treats to sell at the concession stand, and this year I decided to make decorated sugar cookies and chocolate-covered cheesecake bites.

For the sugar cookies, I went with a round cookie decorated with an anchor since the show features three sailors on leave. I used a custom sprinkle mix around the edges that represents the "On the Town" Playbill color scheme of red, white, blue, black, and gold. I also made ticket-shaped cookies and added some music notes since it is a musical.

For the cheesecake bites, I used shapes that represent characters or themes from the show: dinosaurs, a taxicab, and an anchor. Plus, I added a slice of pizza since that's a NY icon!
