A Chocolate Lover's Dream Cake

For this birthday cake, I was asked to indulge the recipient's love of Twix, so I surrounded the vanilla cake with lots of regular-sized Twix candy sticks. I filled the top layer with snack-sized Twix and Snickers bars as well as M&M candies, topped with a drizzle of yellow candy melts for color/fun. To cut some of the sweetness, the cake was covered in bittersweet chocolate ganache instead of the usual buttercream.
