Coconut Cakes for Two

I was recently asked to make a heart-shaped red velvet cake with buttercream frosting and then cover it in coconut flakes (along with the Welcome message piped in red frosting). After my mom posted it on her Facebook page, I got another request for a similar cake for someone's birthday, so I complied!
