Happy Father's Day, Times Two

This Father's Day, I made two very different cakes; one for a client and one for my dad, grandpa, and uncle. Both are chocolate cakes with buttercream frosting.

The NY Islanders hockey cake features the classic logo in orange and blue buttercream on top as well as hockey sticks and pucks all around.

The green "lawn" cake has a "mown" section for the "Happy Father's Day" message because the men in my family are all obsessed with lawn care! My grandpa thought maybe it was mint-flavored frosting because it's green, but nope, it was just your typical buttercream!
