Pumpkin Treats for Thanksgiving

This client loves pumpkin so much, he asked me to make two different pumpkin treats for his Thanksgiving celebration! In addition to a standard pumpkin pie (with acorn-shaped pie dough cutouts for a little extra design flair), I also made a pumpkin spice cake with cinnamon buttercream that tastes like fall. I kept the design simple and elegant, piping a group of small orange buttercream pumpkins with green vines on the top and along one side of the cake. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
