Sleeping Beauty Birthday Cake

For this birthday girl's Sleeping Beauty cake, I decided to recreate the iconic scene where the three fairies attempt to bake Aurora a birthday cake without using magic. The failed birthday cake and broom are sculpted from fondant, while the three fairies and Aurora were handpainted onto fondant cutouts using food dye. The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting.
